With regards to the recent sex-for-contracts case, Mr Chung Ting Fai was invited to express his legal opinion on the case and he mentioned that the female parties who act as the “giver” may also be charged over the gifts even though the recipient of the gifts has already been prosecuted and sentenced to jail for bribery.
